I was born on the 11th of November 1988 in Heemskerk, but all my life I’ve lived in Velsen-Noord. This is a small town near the North Sea canal.

When I was a little kid I always sung. In the old people’s home where my grandmother worked I sang songs for the people. I was about five years old. My grandmother told me once: “Son, you’re as free as a bird. You’re never shy and you’re always cheerful.”

In Primary School (2000 / 2001) we had a musical. A solo, a torchsong, was sung by me. The result was an ovation.

In High school (2001 / 2002) I heard an Elvis Presley song for the first time. The song In The Ghetto touched my soul and I wanted to know more about Elvis.

At the end of High school I sang the song In The Ghetto for my music exam. Also this time it was a great success.

In the past I sang on karaokenights on campings, but my very first performance was at the weddingparty of my cousin. After the show people told me I should go on in music.

I started with singing lessons and focused on Elvis. I also did my hair like Elvis. After a while people asked me for a show and these shows were a great experience.

Elvis Presley still has a great influence in my music. For now I sing his songs, but in the future I will also sing other famous songs from other famous artists. My dream however is to have my own succesfull song.
