The songs of the demo cd I recorded in the USA are on the website.

The yearly tournament at soccer club ODIN (Heemskerk)
Also this year they asked me to return and make a real party in a short period of time.

NEWS UPDATE APRIL 18th, 2009

The video recordings of the National Finals came in. The goal is to place them on
youtube and of course there will be a link to the video on this website.
The two songs I sang for the National Finals were Don't be Cruel and Can't Help Falling In Love.

THE NEW WEBSITE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

There is good news...

- Johnny has returned from the USA
- Performances in the USA were a great success
- Johnny had the honor to sing the National Anthem for Florida's Governor
and the entire cabinet
- Johnny sang for the Chamber of Commerce of Ybor City
- Johnny is invited to give some big shows for example in Kentucky
- The Elvis Extravaganza National Finals

Elvis Extravaganza National Finals
This contest is based on a point system. It's hard to win the first time you participate.
After my performance two judges of the World Championships came to me and
invited me to participate at the World Championships. In their opinion I had a good chance to
win the title.

But there is more news...
Johnny is planning on going back to the USA. This to start a singing career over there.
Though there are much more Elvis Impersonators than in The Netherlands, the change
to success is bigger. After advice from professionals in the music industry over there,
I am ready to start the adventure.

I have told you before that I am going to Florida, USA.
My last performance in the Netherlands will take place on Saturday the 2nd of August 2008 in Café de Grote Hout.

On the 26th of June I am going to record a new CD.
It is an update for the site and of course something new for you my friends.
Hopefully my voice is better than the recording last year. But it is up to you to decide.

1. I am proud to present to you the TOTALLY NEW WEBSITE!!

2. I have totally forgotten to tell you about my last performance. It was in a soccercantine at ODIN (Heemskerk).
I apologise for this, but if you click the link, you will see a picture of me during the performance.

I will do everything I can to collect more pictures of this performance and I will also place them on my site.

3. My next performance is at the Villageparty in Velsen-Noord.
Saturday the 7th of June
3.40 PM - 4 PM
Stratingplantsoen Velsen-Noord (in the tent, on the stage)

This performance is a short one, but a energetic one.
Only the best, pleasent and most energetic songs of The King will be performed.
The suit I will be wearing during this show is a suprise and for now a secret...

4. You have to miss me for a while. For my internship I'm going to America for six months.
During this period I obviously cannot perform in the Netherlands, but in the USA I will defenitely perform!
It is certain that you can say: 'Johnny goes International'

On 20 juni 2007 I recorded my first DEMO CD. I recorded 3 songs.
The CD is recorded in studio Jan-Paul van der Meij.
